A TASTE OF ESSEX EXCELLENCE IN BIRMINGHAM FOR CONSERVATIVE PARTY CONFERENCE

A TASTE OF ESSEX EXCELLENCE IN BIRMINGHAM FOR CONSERVATIVE PARTY CONFERENCE Will Communities Secretary Eric Pickles be the first to check out the chutneys at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham next week – that is the question being asked by an Essex pickles and chutney manufacturer. Four products from the Bromley’s Pickle Company range will be available to sample on the Asda stand in the exhibition hall at the conference. Director of Clacton-on-Sea based Bromleys Pickle Company and the genius in the kitchen is Emma Wicks who said: “Bromley’s Pickles Company is a family run business with my parents and husband working with myself to create a range of eight products which are available through Asda supermarkets. “Demand for our products has been so high this year that we have taken on three apprentices to share with them the secrets of our success and build extra capacity within the business so we can deliver the quantity of quality products our customers require. “The partnership with Asda, which saw our products launch in 287 stores nationally at the beginning of September, has been a great success with sales during the first fortnight exceeding expectations leading to repeat orders from many stores. “When Asda said they wished to feature Bromleys Pickle Company on their exhibition stand at the Conservative Party Conference as an example of how they work with small business to supply a different range of products for their customers we were delighted to agree.
