Shoppers visiting the new Sainsbury store in Stanway on Monday 6th December-Wednesday 8th December will be able to get pickled while shopping thanks to Clacton on Sea based Bromley’s PIckle Company.
Partner at Bromleys Pickle Company Iain Wicks, said: “Bromleys PIckle Company supplies five different varieties of pickles and hutneys to Sainsbury’s stores and we are pleased with the response from shoppers.
“To introduce more shoppers to our range of hand made products produced by our family run firm we are holding a tasting session at the Stanway store from 9am until 2pm on Monday 6th December to Wednesday 8th December 2010.
“Available to sample will be:
Classic Apple Chutney
Sticky Onion Chutney
Tomato & Chilli Jam
Spiced Peach Chutney
and
Cranberry Sauce
“Our pickles and chutneys use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and are an ideal accompaniment to the cold meats and fish that are the bedrock of Christmas buffets.
